An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You Sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Leader:     The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary:
All:             And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

All:             Hail Mary...

Leader:     Behold the handmaid of the Lord:

All:             Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

All:             Hail Mary...

Leader:     And the Word was made Flesh:

All:             And dwelt among us.

All:             Hail Mary...

Leader:      Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God

All:              that we may be made worthy of the                               promises of Christ.

Let us pray:

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord.
